I know, I know...I thought about that, believe me, but like I said it was just all in good fun. I think/hope the VT fans will understand. And beside, this isn't a real burning...Just some creative photoshopping.

This is one reason why I don't trash talk and I know that's not what you were trying to imply here. If I trash talk before a game and come game time I get my a$$ kicked, I basically look like a moron for talking all that crap and not walking the walk

 
OwlFamily didn't think the burning N was a big deal, but clearly it got under the skin of a bunch of folks here. I just don't see any good coming from posting a similar pic, even if it is shopped and intended as a joke.

Put yourself in the shoes of a VT fan. How funny would you think that is?

I guess it would appear it was maybe a bad decision on my part. I don't care for starting controversial posts....That's not my M.O.

Mods if you wish to delete..go for it.

 
It's not that it's offensive. Burning logos is for upstart decade-old programs trying to take down giants. We're Nebraska. VT should be burning our 'N' hoping they'll at least put up a game against us. Yeah, in their house.

 
Have any of you guy watched any of the really old football movies. Mickey Rooney as a kid. The did this stuff on a regular basis in those movies. It is more a tradition than disrespect in those movies.

I saw nothing disrectful about burning the N. See nothing disrespectful about the picture above. Good clean fun.

PC is not always PC.
