I made these yesterday for the game and we really liked them. However..DO NOT make this if you don't care for HOT & SPICY! We like Pizza Hut Hot Wings..but..I think they are better than Pizza Hut Wings. We had 3-1/2 lbs chicken wings so I added probably a 1/4 cup more of Hot Sauce and Chili Sauce than the recipe called for. I used Homemade Chili Sauce in a jar that Albertson's sells. Other stores may sell it too. I also added Cayenne Pepper to it..3 shakes probably. Cayenne Pepper is opt.
Have alot of napkins handy if you make this.
Hot & Saucy Chicken Wings:
2-1/2 lbs. Chicken Wings
3/4 Cup Frank's RedHot Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/4 Cup Prepared Chili Sauce
2 Tsp. Chili Powder
3 Shakes Of Cayenne Pepper
Bake wings in foil-lined pan at 500 °F on lowest oven rack for 20-25 min. until crispy, turning once. ***I suggest not using a foil-lined pan because the wings stuck to the foil and made it nearly impossible to turn!
***The wings we had were not crispy enough after 25 minutes so I put the wings under the broiler to crisp them up. I won't mess with baking them next time I make them. I will just stick them under the broiler.
Mix Buffalo Wings Sauce, Chili Sauce, Chili Powder & Cayenne Pepper in a large bowl; cover and set aside until the chicken wings are crisp.
When chicken wings are done to your liking; toss wings in sauce.
