How Coaches Rated Nebraska

First time I ever saw the actual ratings that the USA Today coaches turned in for their final ratings before the bowl games. Although the interest was in Fla & Mich votes, I found it fascinating how opponents rated Nebraska. Stoops rated us the highest!

Stoops (OU) #17

Franchione (TAM) #20

Mack Brown (TU) #20

McCartney (ISU) #22

Hawkins (CU) #22

Bicknell (La Tech) #22

Blakeney (Troy) Not rated in top 25!

Tommy Tuberville (Auburn) and Bill Callahan had NU as #23.

I'm sure Stoops didn't want to downplay their victory over us any by moving us down too far. Where did you find where the coaches voted. I would like to see how coaches voted for their conference peers as opposed to nonconference foes. If any one could provide a link. It would be greatly appreciated.

The following coaches did not rate Nebraska (where Callahan rated their team):

Frank Beamer---Va Tech (#15)

Larry Blakeney---Troy

Jeff Bower---Southern Miss

Art Briles---Houston

Larry Coker---Miami (Fla)

Brady Hoke---Ball State

Les Miles---LSU (#8)

Joe Tiller---Purdue

Charlie Weis---Notre Dame (#11)

I thought it was interesting that Got Frank has NU #21 and Callahan has NU #23.

I'm sure Les Miles left NU off to please "Super" Bo. That joker from Houston voted Houston #19. The Troy guy is a joker. Coker, NC St Man Boob's Guy, and McCarney shouldn't be allowed to vote since they don't have jobs.
