One thing that I'm surprised more discussion hasn't addressed is the effect coaching change has had on the Big10 landscape. Riley's hire started a reshuffling of coaches. Gary Anderson left Wisconsin, and Paul Chryst was hired to replace him. Narduzzi left MSU the coach Pitt, and Hermann to coach Houston. Oh, and, Michigan got a new coach. The changes could be significant.
Wisconsin will no doubt continue its run based attack, but transition and defense will likely take a hit. MSU's acclaimed defense might lose a little luster (I'm not sure who is the mastermind, but the transition and new replacement may hurt MSU). Ohio States offense might lose a beat on offense. Mighigan has no were to go but up. How high is the question.
Long story short, I think the changes (including at Nebraska) will be significant. For example, does anyone have an idea how we will fare against Wisconsin next year? Will Michigan State retain its top tier status? How good will Michigan be?
Each alone may not be big in and by itself, but together they are important.
