How difficult to get tickets for recruiting trip weekend?

My daughter is being recruited by Nebraska and will have an official visit in either Sept 6 weekend or Sept 20 weekend. Nebraska has offered the 6, 13, or 20 weekends for her official visits, but she'll be on official to USAFA on the 13, so that one's out. While I'd love to see the Michigan game in Memorial Stadium, I'm concerned I won't be able to find tickets. Maybe it's safer to go for Akron?

Still working out details but thought I'd ask the (relative) experts as I haven't been to an in person Husker game in 40ish years...

There are always tickets available. You can probably get tickets directly from the Athletic Department for the Akron game. But probably the ones at the top of the stadium.

You can always get tickets on the secondary market - SeatGeek, StubHub, etc. - for any game. It's just a matter of where you want to sit and how much will it cost.

Yep...

Honestly, for the Akron game I would imagine you can get them from 25 dollars down to free.

It just is not that hard to get tickets.

I thought recruits get 2-4 tickets for a visit, depending on the step-parent situation.

Congrats to your daughter!

If it were me I guess I'd ask whoever it is that's recruiting your daughter. I'd offer to pay for the tickets but I'm sure you won't have to, and the seats will surely be better than what you could get on your own.

Any chance your daughter selects NU?

Thanks for the info. Still gaining some info on the nuts and bolts of the visit. Worst case scenario, it’s good to know that I’d likely be able to get tickets on my own.

Trying to get accurate/timely information through a 16 year old girl who is currently inundated with recruiting information is proving to be very challenging. It’s a process.
