How do you allow Callahan to Coach Tomarrow?

If the rumors are true how can you let a guy who knows hes being forced to resign (Fired) coach the team. If he had any respect he would probably do fine but i wouldnt put it past him to try to embarres this university as much as he can.

 
Um, what do you call the last two weeks before any of this was even going down? I'm sure he wants another coaching gig, so I highly doubt he's going to embarrass us anymore than he already has.

 
I think he will purposely coach bad this sat so he could be standing on thinner ice. He just wants to get fired asap collect his check, and get out of there as soon as possible. You know what I think should happen this weekend? Fk clownahan and let the captains call the plays. This season has gone to sh#t anyways so why not have a little fun?

yeah BC could get pissed but it'll give him more reason to resign wouldn't it.

I can just hear Keller calling the plays now:

"Ok everyone, just go deep!!!"

I think he has been itching all year to air it out, and if he were calling the plays, we'd probably do it every other play.

Please note: I am not saying this would be ANY worse than our current play calling.

 
LOL, by coaching bad (or what he thinks is bad) we will probably actually win the game. He's not going to purposely coach bad. I can't believe people would actually think he's going to sabotage the rest of the season and the recruits. If he does this, it would suicide to his coaching career. I'm sure at his age he would like to continue coaching.

yeah, but he could make even shitter calls. another shutout? That'd guarantee a burn wouldn't it.

buyout would be what over $3 million ? I think that's big enough to be a retirement check.

also I've been dying to see Keller burn some nice deep ones. He's in his senior season, and the end is getting near

so...

Wouldn't it be fun if he told Keller to just draw up some plays in the dirt? Oh wait, we've got artificial turf so he would have to borrow Callahan's oversized clipboard.

Keller runs back to the huddle and excitedly announces, "Everybody go out for a pass!"

Then at the line of scrimmage he barks out the signals: "Hut, hut, hike!"

My guess is that Callahan will actually embrace the Husker heritage with his play calling this week.

We may see 7 to 10 "rooskies" and the option will probably make an appearance. Even with all that, the team will put in a better effort than the last couple games! :corndance :corndance :corndance :corndance

In all seriousness though, I expect Callahan to put in good effort along with his staff because they all have futures that they need to worry about. Cally will have enough dough to last after this but he needs to look after his assistants. They aren't making enough to quit working! Plus, if he has any pride at all he will do everything to turn it around!

I just feel bad for the players and I will be rooting as hard as ever for them from Section 35, Row 97 in the North Stadium!

The kids deserve our best and our respect!
