EDIT---or at least a mention that this is a BOOK, not an article on espn or the like.
after a little looking around, i found this to be the most entertaining and enlightening read about said book--UK Viewpoint i have a hard time finding anything i would argue with in the article, except near the end when he talks about soccer taking a hold in America. I loved, and grew up playing select style soccer but he's a little misguided on this/that point. I cant flippin stand it now on the 'telly,' and frankly dont know anyone who can.

I just got done writing a paper about something similar to this. I wound up refering to a book "How soccer explains globalization" or something like that, so probably pretty similar.
