How hungry will this team be?

Alright so this board is consumed with topics/posts to get rid of BC right now. I am not sure what to think. I thought at the beginning of the season that we were almost the sure favorites for the north.. hell I even went out on a limb and said we wouldn't lose a game in the north... errr, I was wrong I see. I can see both sides of what people are saying now. Yeah, other major programs have had losing seasons and periods of major downtime. The rest say yeah, but WE ARE NEBRASKA!

Now, I belive that this team is improved in some areas, and has regressed in some areas.. but overall I don't know if we're much better.

OK OK, enough introductions.. here's what I want to know. With pretty much our season on the line this weekend vs KState. How hungry will our coaches/players be? It's do-or-die time.. we lose.. we've lost 4 straight heading INTO Colorado, and we're in the same position as last year.. beat CU or no bowl game. Alright it's a two part question

a) How hungry will this team be?

B) Can we pull this thing off?

Hopefully this can bring about a bit better discussion as to where this team is at right now, about the FOOTBALL GAME that is coming up on Saturday.

We can wait to bash coaches/players/ADs at the end of the seaso

i think it will be a major job for these coaches to get these kids ready to play this game......the only hope is for the noisest crowd of all time at memorial stadium..but honestly i think we lose out the rest of the way and spend the off season in an unproductive discussion of what went wrong.....i hope i am wrong!

It just seemed when the team got off the busses yesterday morning until they left the field there was no fire in most of them. Anyone who was there knows the kickoff team were out to get the large husker crowd fired up, but it's hard to cheer when you team just simply looks awful.
