From this thread I've learned the definition of a 'douche' or 'douche bag'

'douche bag': noun. A person that is proud that they have ventured out and traveled around the world, but afraid that fellow Americans who refuse to leave the U.S. and instead judge others based on what they've heard about the world from Fox News will look down upon them.

Douche: People who found time and had the money to travel to awesome destinations that makes others jealous.

Pretty sure politics had nothing to do with it.
