How was the 1st week of practice?

Just wondering if any of you up there in the good old cornhusker state have any news about how the first week of practice went. Since things start up again tomorrow I expect to start hearing more about the I back situation but after the first couple days of pads can anyone tell me who's looked sharp, who's impressed or surprised etc.?

I just need a little info to keep me going.

 
Mo Purify has done well in practice, even without the pads. Andre Jones has impressed people, and will now be forced into the lineup. Tierre Green wore the "yellow" jersey the other day in practice, signifying that he has done well in practice and was the defensive player of the day, so it seems he is picking up the D.

 
Good to hear we need some positives after losing a few players here. Don't get me wrong I don't think it will bring us down at all. chuckleshuffle
