How will Pelini react if Tech runs up the score?

You guys know that Mike Leach will put EVERYTHING on the field and play the starters the whole game. If this gets ugly and he shows no signs of letting up, how will Pelini handle it?

He'll run across the field, throw a stick of Big Red into his mouth, jaw jack Mike Leach in the chin and while standing over Mike, Bo says, "You've been Bogasmed!".

Right after turning his sweatshirt into the sleeveless Bill Belichick cut-off special.

Yesterday on Unsportsmanlike Conduct they asked Leach TWICE if he would not run up the score.....he gave no answer.

We "know" that, huh? How do you account for their backup QB playing in 3 out of 5 games so far, and more than for just a token final series by the looks of it.

And if he does, hopefully Pelini will take responsibility for being unable to stop them.

Many coaches call all the dogs and figure the losing team will also put in subs. Since Bo didn't do that last week, expect other coaches to leave starters in just a bit longer, to make sure the game is put away. Nobody wants to lose a lead because they put in the scrubs against our #1s out of sportsmanship.

Why does everyone think he'll run the score up on us? What good are style points now? If TT wins the South, wins the Big 12, then I guarantee you they will be playing in the NC game. Running up the score against us will serve no purpose.

Pelini has probably already kindly requested of Coach Leach to "please keep the score in double digits" via email.

Nah.. my guess is that (if my prediction of a Husker upset turns out wrong for some strange reason) Pelini would merely tear Leach's face off and ram it down his throat right before drop kicking him through the goal posts and then collaring a ref who hasn't left the field yet for "my three points!"

Hopefully by not embarassing his team and this state by cussing out Leach. Here's a refreshing thought, how about stopping them a few times so they can't run it up?

i can't remember the last time we ever worried about an opponent running up the score.....er, except for last weekend......the huskers have fallen like the stock market.....
