Hurry up offense?

I got to stop myself from questioning the heart or effort out there. Lack of depth contributes a lot. Wisconsins style wore these guys down. Our hurry up offense and lack of production ensured we sent the boys right back out on defense as fast as we could.

These poor players had no answers and the coaches sure as hell went giving them any. Aside from an a$$ chewing, what was Bo giving his players on the sideline? Motivation, adjustments? Keep your head up boys, we'll fix this. Hell no, there's none of that.

This has got to be a tough place to play ball. All the talent in the world isn't gonna stop the better teams and more importantly better coaches, from picking Bo's scheme apart.

Minnesota comes to ton in a week. They execute very well for the most part. If they don't get in a situation where Leidner is forced to throw, that game could be ugly.

Hurry up offense? I wish it actually was. We snapped the ball with 2-4 seconds left on play clock for 98% of the game.

Were they in in hurry up mode at the beginning or were they slow playing it later on when they were trying to shorten the game (and bleeding)?

This. Snapping the ball with 20 seconds on the clock isn't hurry up. Getting to the line quickly and looking at the sidelines isn't hurry up. Getting to the line quickly and snapping quickly is hurry up. We do nothing to stress the D. At times, you actually see us "no huddle" and then look to the sidelines and THEN their D adjusts........

The only thing I'd like Beck to hurry up is getting his a$$ out of NU football.....

Regardless, whether we call it hurry up offense or not, we hurried up and got off the field almost every drive. There was hardly any sustained offense. We were 3-14 on third down.

So really my point still stands, these guys on defense we're hurt at least by the lack of production offensively.

Either way, I'm not fonna bash the players too much and I'm not gonna defend Bo or Beck. Enough is enough. After 408 yards it's hard to excuse anybody.

There's only so many 50+ yrs sprints VV, Collins etc can do back to back before they get tired. Agree 100%.

That's been one of my biggest complaints about Beck (not just for yesterday). His play calling has no flow or logical progression from series to series or game to game. He doesn't call plays to help the D at all i.e. eat the clock to let them rest or get coached up OR to keep friggin Gordon off the field. The guy is an idiot. Plain and simple. Not excusing the D and their play, but beck has never called the O to help the D......

I like TO's offense , sending in the plays with receivers. I know the signaling thing is all the rage.....it sucks.
