Husker Chalk Talk - Concept Wednesday

If Morgan reads his blocks right on the reverse play and gets outside of them instead of cutting right into them, it's a big gain or possibly a TD.  Those were good blocks on the edge too bad they weren't used properly, but a great lesson for Morgan going forwards once he sees the film.

This is why we should use that play for DPE, JD, or Tyjon

I wouldn't completely give up on Morgan, but boy those are three seriously exciting alternatives and I don't know which of the three I prefer, especially after JD's kick return.

I saw that play when I rematched the game.  He could have gone for a HUGE gain if he only would have cut outside.  Coaches will use that as a learning experience and hopefully he will gain from it for later in the season (this week).
