Husker Football Replay tonight

Was skimming through the digital box tonight and noticed at 830PM CST is Nebraska vs Ohio State Football just in case you wanted to see the greatest comeback in Nebraska Football History again. As an added bonus, from 7 till 830 is Battle of the Network stars. I don't remember the women jiggling that much when I was young.

Battle of the Network Stars :clap I just look at Tom Selleck's glorious stache back then and fully respect it's gloriousness in modern day. The thing is a Lifetime Achievement award in itself

Three things that I thought last year, that kind of merge into this upcoming season were reminded to me while watching this game.

1. Ciante Evans is not good. Been saying it since his "good game" against Mizzou. Offensive Coordinators really seemed to pick on him when he came into the game. Was burned a couple times during this OSU game and committed penalties as well. Things that we saw a lot last fall. Again SJB needs to buy into playing the nickle, he would THRIVE there.

2. The mismatches, personel combinations, and play potentials out of the diamond formation was underused after this game. This formation is the kind that can cause DCs all kinds of headaches, and really stresses a defense to play assignment ball.

3. Spencer Long, if the youngins are struggling, and ARod proves he can put full games together, should be the center next fall. Beck loves pulling the center on a lot of plays annd Spencer is a proven roadgrader coming around the edge. He also is smart enough to make the line calls.

Finally the greatest thing that came out of this game was a post about Bausermann's throwing chart. That was classic. SOOOO....if someone who doesn't have an 8-5 manual labor job like myself *COUGH* knapp *COUGH* I would +1 ya for a week. It so needs to make another appearance in this thread.

EDITED for n.e.husker. Sorry I am still not over the fact he is gone

Question. Is ciante just lacking the mental aspect or is it more physical.

Both. He is mauled by bigger WRs. And he has probably been "overcoached" to a point. I believe Carl told Matt Millen that before the OSU game and Millen reiterated it. Also thinks he lacks the one thing that makes DBs great, the ability to let a bad play go and not dwell on it.

Watched the DVRd Battle of Network Stars this morning, and I am amazed at all the sexual innuendo. I guess I missed it back then, but oh my God. Donna Dixon, the gal from chips doing the dance on the dunk tank, and who ever the actress was trying to get ready and almost bumping her a$$ into the guys face and all the guy does is smile and lick his lips and pucker up.

I still have this game saved onto my DVR along with the Washington, Michigan State, Penn State, and Iowa games :)

From personal experience; that doesn't leave much room for other programming.

I have every Nebraska win from last season and the Northwestern game and the bowl game, plus the classic games they showed on BTN last July, like the 1997 championship, the Miami game, etc. I think I have a total of ten games, plus about a week's worth of Daily Show, Colbert, Tosh.0 and The Soup. You need to get a bigger DVR!

Who?!?!? Huskerboard ban....

BTW, that pass chart is hilarious.
