Got to thinking about "way back when" the Huskers had a Freshman team. Freshman didn't play on the varsity team, they had their own team. They played games against some JUCOs as well as against some "JV" teams from other schools. Think it ended with a game against the Air Force Academy in 1993 or so. Wow have things changed.
