Husker NYEve drinking celebration pass out party!

Me neither...An old dude at the local grocery store looked so surprised after he asked if I was planning to go to, or have a party...I'd said, "No, I'd forgotten it was this week".

I accidently dozed off on the couch after work...at 11:55 it Sounded like the neighbors where shooting a Tompson Machine Gun at my poor Siberian Husky in the back yard..And all the tent/lots that were selling Christmas trees last month were selling fireworks...Even Walyworld had a couple of isles dedicated to it...Same amount as July 4th

Is the fireworks on NYE a regional thing? or are they doing it back home on the Tundra, too?

Seems pointless to shoot off pop bottle rockets into a snow drift..

They do it everywhere. It only became legal to do it in Lincoln a few years ago, but before then people still shot em off.

 
I'd heard it was legalized out here (AZ) a couple of years ago, too...I guess it's a lot better than shooting their guns in the air like when I first moved out here...
