Husker tidbits

I have complete faith that Beck well turn-out just fine. He'll recover fine...take a little time to get back to form and playing condition, then, on game days in 2007, he'll launch beautiful aerials to receivers, light-up the scoreboard, and be crowned by fans all through Huskerland as the best pocket passer that has ever worn a Husker uniform.
I like the sound of that! :thumbs

But as highly thought of as he was coming out of high school I just thought I would have seen flashes of the future in the limited time he was in last season...yes I know he was a freshman and he was barely even given any time, but look at the passes he made. They were all high, off target, and usually floated out of bounds...in the end it will work out, but I always have my doubts.

i agree totally ......not sure what is going on here..first hamstring, then shoulder..you have to wonder about durability and conditioning at this point...not saying he can't or won't come around, but i will stick my neck out and say i am disappointed at this point.........

The big problem I have is just taking a look at the hits Taylor took game in and game out...and unless our o-line does a complete 180, what the hell does that do for Beck, who can't even practice without a new injury?!? He's wearing a green jersey, for crying out loud! I'm not trying to make Beck look bad...but if he wants the limelight at this point, he's gonna have to be able to take some big hits...and that is not looking like a forte at this point. <_<
