Big 12

The favorites: Oklahoma-Missouri

The dark horse: Nebraska. The Huskers are playing air but get their first real test Sept. 27 against Virginia Tech. It's clear that coach Bo Pelini is lining things up for Oct. 4 when No. 5 Missouri visits. If the Huskers can take down the Tigers -- Missouri has won three of the last five -- it might be time to reassess the North.

If you're wondering about Texas, the 'Horns are never an underdog at anything, ever.

It appears that 99% of the United States outside of Nebraska has more confidence in the team than we do.
IMO alot of us are expecting the worse and hoping for the best, I mean we are "rebuilding" right? So if we win, we win; if we don't then it wasn't meant to be. The national media hacks are just riding Bo's back until the :koolaid2: gets warm.

Win or lose,

That's a fair assessment I think. You go back to last year or two years ago, it was the exact opposite. I think it's kind of a pendulum. We experienced the worst last year and are afraid to hope that it could change.
