Huskers give up 60 to bye week

After the game, Coach Bill Callahan took full credit, saying that it was all due to his system and that he set records against the bye week that may never be broken.

The bye week did put up 680 yards of offense in a losing effort.

Cosgrove was seen leaving the field crying after the first quarter with Nebraska behind 48-36, only to return to finish the destruction of the defensive scheme, which Ganz was still able to overcome.

I heard that Cozgrove went down to Oklahoma to help OU on defensive schemes against Texas Tech offense. Can this be confirmed?

I've heard from a reliable source that Coz is still working on his halftime adjustments for the USC game!

yeah, and they were even playing with 13 men on the field in the 4th qtr...just to give some of the underclassmen some experieince.

Game ball went to Herbie for not showing up due to hanging out with the defense the night before at the Brass Rail and being hung over.

Also, there was a controversy with the Husker waterboys...seems to save money to buyout Callihan and Cosgrove the AD gave orders to water down the gatorade this week since it wasn't going to be that warm, and the defense hasn't been working hard enough to sweat anyway.
