Huskers @ Illinois

Apparenlty Doc's looking to tinker with his ranked-290th-in-the-country offense per this story in the OWH. I'd say it can't get any worse but ...

The link is worth the click if for nothing else than

Here's an idea to fix the offense: do you think anyone would notice if we quietly slid Jordan Hooper over to the men's team?

I especially liked Doc's quote..............

"I ain't smart, but I ain't stupid."

Herewith nominated for "coaches quote of the year"..........

Actually Doc just said on his pre-game show that Diaz and Talley have both practiced the last few days, and it will be the proverbial "game time decision".

Even a few minutes should help with depth.

Illinois is battling some injuries of their own so...................who knows?

I don't expect to win, but it would be nice to be competitive...............

It's gonna be tough sledding for us until Diaz gets healthy. Or we somehow find a replacement. Shoot, it was gonna be tough sledding for us in the B1G even when we had the big guy.

Took us almost three minutes to even get a shot up (four TOs to start the game). I wonder why we have trouble scoring points?

Diaz is in the game sporting the Richard Hamilton-like face guard. Sparks NU to a 11-7 lead.

Here's to cracking 40 today.

Nine turnover vs. 7 shots in the first 10 minutes. Some habits are just hard to break
