I won't be surprised if Gates is the first Husker taken this year.  I will be surprised if he isn't moved to guard.

Gates would have been a good college guard, but they could never get a good tackle to replace him.

Weber announced he's not trying for pro football so he can focus on going to medical school.  His career path is just fine.

Ok. I missed that announcement.  I knew he was going to medical school but hadn't heard he wasn't going to try for pro ball.
