Nebraska ranks in the top 10 nationally for college football attendance, according to a report by CBS Sports.

The Huskers averaged 90,200 fans for the seven games played at Memorial Stadium this season. All seven were sellouts, extending the streak to 354 straight dating back to 1962.

Nebraska's average attendance ranks the Huskers fourth in the Big Ten. Michigan (110,468) and Ohio State (107,278) had the two highest average attendance figures in the nation. Penn State with 100,257 fans per game came in at No. 7.

Five SEC teams and Texas, from the Big 12, rounded out the top 10.

The Big Ten as a whole averaged 66,162 fans per game, slightly more than a year ago. It's the second highest average behind the SEC.

I like this stat more. 90,000 fans in a stadium that holds 90k is better than 95,000 in a stadium that holds 105k.

And from the original article:

Figures represent the announced crowd totals schools reported to the NCAA and not necessarily actual attendance. Many athletic departments count attendance differently.

'Cuz attendance matters more than wins.
Your username is quite fitting.
