Huskers making NFL rosters

Cut: Murtha, Swift, Purify, Bo Ruud,

Potter and Stein were cut by the Jets. Slausen made it. The fact that Potter and Stein even got a look there is bc/ of Callahan IMO.

Not a husker but Woodhead did make the Jets roster.

Any word on others?

Murtha was signed to the practice squad, and almost claimed by the Seahawks.

Purify is on the Cinci practice squad.

Not sure of any others.

I am sure Murtha was hoping to get out of Detroit....don't get me wrong, being on an NFL team is great, but man it has got to suck to be on the Lions!

Just checked the Colts website. He is listed on the roster and has not been assigned a number
