Huskers Not Forcing Turnovers

Our defense isn't helping themselves much. We had a couple chances last game but didn't get it done.

We had a shot at like 3 or 4 picks against Wiscy, they just didn't seem to know how to haul them in.

Yeah, that's frustrating. OTOH, a couple of Tommy's throws should have been picked off. But their DBs couldn't haul them in either.

Very true. The one Gerry dropped really bummed me out, he was due.

They've had a couple picks negated due to PI calls. Those calls were determined to be wrong after the game.

The lack of fumble recoveries gets me though. With the added emphasis on stopping the run you'd think they'd have more of them.

Lack of a front four pass rush starts the ball rolling on this one.

Again, as I said in another thread - a secondary that is as suspect as Verbal Kent doesn't help matters at all, but if your front four isn't getting any push to pressure or sack QBs, then you could have Deion Sanders, Darryl Green, Rod Woodson, and Ronnie Lott out there, and it wouldn't matter.

No secondary can cover anybody with as much time as this D line is giving them.

The funny thing is when the blitz is called. Doesn't get there. At all.
