I would agree with NUPolo8 that 3rd place in the new West Division would be the definition of mediocrity. But I disagree with the next point about people being worried about going 5-7 if Pelini was fired.

Once the 9 win streak was broken, and then the non-losing season streak was broken, then the consecutive bowl game streak was broken, the only thing left to fear is the sell out streak being broken.
