Pretty uninspiring 12 point win. Had a 20 point lead cut down to 2.

The good

Nice seeing all five starters hitting double figures and Jacobson getting a double double. Mcveigh finding his touch from three. 14-16 from the line. 19 assists on 34 made fgs. Roby. Tai with nine assists.

The bad

Gill again a no show. 15 turnovers. Mcveigh still shooting 9 threes, he made four. Giving up 12 offensive boards.

Need another big to grab boards. Might look for a grad transfer or a great recruit because Jordy is a year away from where he needs to be.

That said Morrow plays well despite playing out of position.

Should have kept that lead to twenty, because that is what great teams do.

Not true bc Miles said he trusts him to play whether hes ready or not and gave him a vote of confidence. He looks like a good player but the problem is he is a bit slow adapting to the speed of the game.

Cmon teach, this is a reach. He only will improve as he plays more. This year, yes he won't give ya a lot. But being around basketball year round here in the states will only help him by leaps and bounds.

We need to attack more. The whole "let's shoot just 100% 3 pointers and pray that they make it" philosophy won't go far in conference play, and almost cost us the lead today. Jack McVeigh still unimpressive on defense. Great game for Jacobson.
