Just wanted to say that it was a pleasure being in the same conference. I am sorry to see you guys go but I wish you the best of luck in the Big 10 (+2)!!!

My first experience with your fanbase:

I recall the graciousness of NU fans at the Big 12 Championship game in 1997.

I was so despondent after our 54-15 drubbing, the Husker behind me kindly handed me a beer and said genuinely - you guys are great fans and good people, you will be back.

Good luck Huskers, the heart of the North.

For what it's worth, I am sad for both programs that our last game ended this way. I will go to my grave thinking the refs jobbed us, but the fact is that it's not A&M's fault. I think it's a conference issue, not an Aggie issue. But you all get caught in the crossfire because we are pissed at the refs. It marred what could have been a really good defensive battle for the ages. If you take out the referees, this had the feel of an instant classic almost.

 
That PF call was absolutely terrible. Really bad call. I hate that stains the last game between us for likely some time. I wish you had beat the sips this year. Give the potheads my love next week(j/k!).

 
Seconded, I was at the Nebraska v A&M game in '98 and have had nothing but great experiences with Husker fans. Sorry for this to end the way it did, good luck the rest of the way.

 
Good game to Texas A&M, good luck in the future in the Big 12. I wish we could still play you folks down the road, who knows!
