I feel like we won but we lost

I think I just watched us lose a game we won.

14 points on 23 total yards.

I'm not one of the people calling for Callahan's head. I like the direction things are going but I thought our last series was pretty conservative. Especially to them go for it on 4th and 11. And the fake punt was pretty risky. Why so safe when we should be going for the kill?

 
It was still a good season and a good game. Unfortunately some questionable play calling hurt us, but ah well. Now we have to deal with the people that go crazy over the fact that Nebraska isn't a national contender after 3 years under a new system. Oh joy.

 
Sorry to say it, but if Auburn was supposed to be a Top 5 team, then the Top 5 is pretty sad. Without the turnovers, we are up at least 3, maybe 4 scores at half. We choked and that's it. Turnovers killed us all game.

 
we are getting closer..... this team beat florida. as long as we continue to improve we will be fine. I think cally does need to improve as well, but I think he ALSO improved this year. 2007 should be interesting

I am just sick of moral victories. "We were in the game." "If only we didn't turn the ball over." Bottom line is we lost. We had a chance to win and didn't pull it out. Reoccuring theme this season. We didn't have a good season, we had a mediocre season. Sure we won 9 games, its great to get that streak started again, but we played 14. This team is like your ex-girlfriend that left you. She still calls and is nice and flirty, but nothing ever happens and she isn't coming back. Disappointing, disappointing, disappointing.
