I met Jimmy Miller this weekend

CowboyBob

Four-Star Recruit
Some of my friends and I were sitting out on the patio there (for anybody else who was there, was that harley davidson annoying the hell out of you too?) and I noticed this kid with his family wearing a Mullen HS T shirt and it looked a lot like his pictures on Rivals. He wasn't more than 20 ft from me so I hollered out at him. He came over and I asked him if he was coming here or what. He said if he gets an offer he's "N." I laughed and asked him if he was going to get one. He politely answered that they have all of their OLineman spots for this year taken, but there's one who might not make it due to academics (he was referring to Aaron Schulte last year's greyshirt) and if he doesn't make it then he is someone they are certainly looking at. He said he liked the honesty of the staff with regards to that.

Then I asked him if he was really 6-3. Because sometimes Rivals and scout can get their measurables inflated, you know what I mean, some kids listed at 6-5 300 but he's really 6-3 270. It happens. So I asked him if he was really 6-3. he said yes. Then I said "enjoy your time here bud. Hope to see you in red someday."

So there you have it.

My "interview" with Jimmy Miller.

That probably made his day. When fans can recognize a recruit and pretty much know everything about him shows them that Husker Nation means business.

Jimmy is the king of guy we should think about throwing a greyshirt at as well.

It's pretty well known how much he likes the Huskers, as well as his entire family are Husker fans.

He's strike me as the type who would come in here, work his butt off, and be a solid contributor by the time he is done in Lincoln.

I'm rooting for this guy to get his offer.

But it's also a good thing to know that we are done at o-line this early and can focus elsewhere.

Or creeps the hell out of him.
and that's why we should all make an effort to wear pants when talking to a potential recruit. or at least clean underwear.

at the *VERY* least... underwear in general.
