I met Kenny Bell at the airport

Just ran into Kenny Bell in the Denver airport, I'm waiting for my flight to NYC and he's grabbing a Quiznos sub.

He said he's flying to Florida to meet up w his girlfriend. Camp starts next Saturday, he's really excited ad thinks they are ready. Although he lamented how hard and hot camp is.

He said even though his GF is in Florida there was no way he could pass up playing for Nebraska.

I always thought he looked skinny as hell on tv, he's pretty ripped. He looked like he was pushing 200-205 pretty easy. Still got the fro. Definetly has filled out.

Anyway...

Awesome. Maybe he's gain a few lbs of muscle?....I wouldn't be surprised. Very cool!

I remember the Santos thread from a couple days ago that scared erry'one cuz he just had his name on there.

I figured if I put he was going to Florida (true) it would freak people out he was transferring (not true).

Dude looked pretty big. Tall, had his Husker shirt on, seems like Knap has a pic of it up above. He was very nice and took about 4-5 mintues to chat before his Sub was ready.

Looks like same day though, has on same shirt for sure. If it is, I'm sure Kenny feeling the love in CO if he got 2 (at least) fan bumps just at the airport.

 
Not to be a kill joy here! I am under the impression from former players that they are Broke and can barely get by? How do you afford a plane ticket unless your parents are buying it?? In other words people dont get your panties into a wad! It is a shot at players not realizing what they have in front of them for their future is all!

 
His parents probably are buying it. Or maybe his girlfriend. Or maybe even him. Plane tix are only around $300 or so. :lol:

And if you are implying that a booster bought the tix, well, it must have been a cheapskate booster. Since his flight to Florida connects through Denver with a layover.
