That would be great! But with Adi booting them through the endzone, we wouldn't get very far into the song. Ha ha!

 
Start Me Up was genius. You are telling me you like the song they play now? It is terrible. Sounds like something you would here at a Jazzercize session.

 
The song we use now i is the same one used for years at Husker basketball. It doesn't conjure up good memories (from basketball). UNL probably doesn't have the cash, after the Billy C and Pedey buyout, to pay the royalties on another song. Maybe next year.

 
Start Me Up might have been the corniest kickoff song ever used in the history of man. We're Nebraska, we've got enough corn already.

 
"Can you feel it" is all right for 30 seconds but after that it's just annoying. Start me up is still the song I think of when I think warm afternoon kickoffs in the good ol'days.

I though about this at the last home game. I couldn't remember if we even played it last year. I could direct you to the person that does the audio for the games, but my guess is that she wouldn't change anything with only 2 games left.
