I think "I play for Nebraska" means exactly that - there is no "I" in team.

I don't play for myself. I play for NEBRASKA!

 
i love what SP has done. he has restored a bunch of pride across Husker Nation and within me. I cannot wait to take it all in and give back with my noise on Saturday

Is the horse shoe still hanging on the wall or did this replace it?

 
It literally brings a tear to my eye when you watch, what's called theGreatest Video Ever on Studio425, that shows Barry Alvarez talking about when people ask him where did he play he says he's VERY proud to say, "I played for Nebraska"

I would hope that the horseshoe is still in the tunnel somewhere as a lot of people are superstitious. But I have no idea if it is or not. Anyone else know for sure?
