If 2017 is a repeat of 2007, all I ask is for one thing...

Hell, he called arguable one of my favorite plays of all time. The one against Colorado where Zac Taylor started walking off the field like he was confused, and they direct snapped it to the RB for a first down.

Here's the full 2006 Colorado game.  Link should be set to the 4th down play where Zac walks off the field.  That was one hell of a fun game.

Callahan first season: 5 wins and 6 losses.  Inherited winning coaches ..... Solich 10W-3L

déjà vu

Riley first season: 6 wins and 7 losses.  Inherited winning coaches ..... Bo 9W-4L

Callahan second season: 8 wins and 4 losses.

déjà vu

Riley second season: 9 wins and 4 losses.

Callahan third season: 9 wins and 5 losses.

Riley third season (2017): 3 wins and 4 losses so far.  MR will be canned?

Callahan fourth season (2007): 5 wins and 7 losses.  BC was canned.

Yep, almost for sure 2017 is a repeat of 2007.  Actually MR is quicker timeframe than Billy.

BTW, it reminds me of Ball St (BC barely win) and N. Illinois (MR barely loss).

For BC to be playing for the CC in year 3 was good but the amazing thing is how far he fell in year 4 and how quickly things turned on him.

Would giving up 76 to KU be similar to giving up 76 to Purdue?

Oh lord

Maybe if Purdue was undefeated and #8 in the Nation when Nebraska plays them.  That Kansas team finished 12-1 and #7 in the Nation.  They were good (not 76-39 good) unlike this Purdue team.  Giving up 76 to Purdue would be way worse.

I was also at that game. The 2007 season sucked, but that game was fun. My favorite moment was when Callahan went for it on 4th and long. No receivers got open and Ganz scrambled for a 1st down. I laughed.

Not just 4th and long. It was 4th and 20, when we were up by about 30 points.
