Play for YOU and your brothers.

Don't play for anybody else but yourself and your brothers beside you on the field.

I don't know how much attention is focused on the media, the fans, and the coaches or whatever else, but this is about PRIDE. Maybe there's been too much focus on all the outside noise. Maybe even your Head Coach seems to pay attention to that stuff too much.

This is about self respect and respect for your teammates.

Don't play for us, don't play for them, PLAY FOR YOU. Take pride in knowing that you represented yourself and your teammates.

It might surprise you, but when you focus on taking care of you, suddenly those around you become better. Suddenly, you're all representing something bigger than just YOU.

Still, it all has to start with you.

Are you doing everything YOU can do to be better? Are you representing yourself the way you want?

 
I would say block out all the noise from the fans and media and band together and finish the season strong. There is a lot to play for this season. You prove all the nay sayers wrong and set the tone for the direction of the program. 11-2!

 
If I could tell them one thing it would be to stop reading fan forums and social media posts, and worry about playing good football.
