If the big ten is the richest conference, why cant they pay there coaches and assistant coaches

This conference is filled with cheap asses. Simple as that.

Minnesota thought they would be great at football because their facilities are now nice and shiny. They would rather sit back and luck into getting good coaches.

 
Who says they can't? Alvarez wouldn't be taking shots at Bielema if it truly was related to paying coaches.
