Yes, it would appear that the defense is so bad that something as archaic and easily defended as the option looks good. I am actually a fan of the option, I'm just curious if the fellas on this board who hate on the option will admit it can still work or admit this is perhaps the worst D the Huskers have ever fielded..

OSU isn't even GOOD at it! They run it slow and sloppy but it is still slashing us to bits.

Pick any varitation of offense and it will make this defense look stupid.

Why wouldnt anyone run it against this defense? 6, 8, 10, 15 yards each carry.. even running between the tackles, makes no difference. Sigh... I'd gameplan it if I'm the opposing coach.

The worst part is that ESPN doesn't even comment on it when we get destroyed anymore it's not a surprise... it's like talking about Ball State getting destroyed.
