A beautiful ball park.

Lots of lovely ladies, of all ages, in the stands.

College ballgame atmosphere.

The second best college championship tournament.

The College World Series is something we should all be watching, and if you get a chance to go to a game, don't miss it.

The NCAA gets the basketball tournament right, they survived CBS trying to screw this tournament up, and they get the CWS right. Unfortunately, for college football fans, they have done nothing but screw up the end of the college football season. They need to seriously consider going back to letting the major bowls play on New Years Day and let that be the end of the season. The NCAA in its endless quest for money has failed college football miserably.

been some good games so far too.

As far as the end to the college football season, its hard to say its failed. Ratings are up every year, more and more games on TV. More money going all around the the schools and networks. The game has never been stronger, and only trails the NFL is popularity.

I agree with what you say but I think the product has been damaged, the unfortunate thing is the fan will watch what ever is given them, even a product that doesn't offer what was once the greatest single day in college sports, The Rose Bowl, The Cotton Bowl, The Sugar Bowl, The Gator Bowl, ect., ect. all on the same day. all with importance and with the right senario several teams with a shot at the "mythical" national championship. It may not have given us a diffinitive national champion but it gave us an incredible day of football and a subject to debate over cold beer through the doldrums of winter. Many of you don't remember these wonderful New Years Days but trust me, IT WAS BETTER THEN.

I think that the main reason that college football is thriving, is that it has the best regular season in all of sports. I dont know if there is any way to end the season that will make everyone happy, but the regular season is what we live for.

Absolutely right and that is what made the New Years Day so great. All this "we need a play off", we need to know who the "real champion is" is bull pucky. It didn't have a squeeky wheel and didn't need to be fixed.
