Illinois game on ESPNU...

For those of us that don't get this channel, are we S.O.L??? Will it be mirrored on BTN or another channel in Nebraska? Thanks in advance!

ESPN3 should allow you to stream it, if you have a cable log-in. If not, then you'll have to go find a place to watch. I'm a little disappointed because, for some reason, I don't have ESPNU in HD.

How does DISH not have ESPN U in HD?

And at least you got to see the SDSU debacle in HD--all of the subfeeds are in SD with FiOS.

 
Lame that we're not even on espn2. I'd rather be back on BTN with announcers that know the teams than on espnu

 
I can't remember us ever playing a game on ESPNU. I too would rather just be on the BTN if we can't get at least ESPN2.

 
ESPNU is on the basic DirecTV package now. They swapped it with ESPN Classic. Unfortunately for me it doesnt matter as I will have to listen to it on Froggy 98 now that Bean harvest is picking up steam. Actually the radio is better than most of the Tv color commentary we get from ESPN.

 
Pretty sure this is the first time we've ever been on ESPNU.

I'm guessing it's also a rare occurrence for B1G schools.

A demotion of sorts? Isnt ESPN U reserved for MAC schools 90% of the time?

I am not sure if you would call it a "demotion". The other 2 games shown by ESPN/ESPN2 are #25 Maryland at #8 FSU, and Michigan State at Iowa. Those two games are clearly better matchups than Illinois at Nebraska.
