I doubt it will be 20k. That's the kind of number you'd expect if Nebraska were in the hunt for something or expected to be in the hunt.

It may look like a lot, depending on what Illinois fans number, but 20k seems like a giant fantasy.

You underestimate the number of Nebraska fans there are that live in the Chicago and St. Louis areas. It is about a 4 hour drive to Champagne from either city. It would not surprise me if 5-8000 fans each were coming from those two cites.

No way there is 20k

Well, if every player on the team had family as big as the Westerkamp clan, then it would not be a problem. According to Mama Westy, there will be 100+ family members at the game. That number apparently is not including friends, just family members.

Really wish I could have gone to this game. Woulda been perfect, could have gone to the Bears Raiders game on Sunday too.
