To watch my sister in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event! She won the 2007 Nebraska State Hold Em Tournament yesterday and won a seat in the 2007 WSOP and $5,000! I'm pumped that I will actually know somebody in the tournament.

 
Thanks guys. Watch for Diane Brisby in the WSOP. It's unlikely that she will make it to tv because there are like 10,000 people in the tourney, but ya never know! We were just discussing when our next Vegas trip would be and it looks like it is going to be sooner than originally thought!

 
Sweet, when you going? Just got back last night from LV. Had a blast. Went to the Voodoo Lounge at the Rio, Tryst at the Wynn, got my a$$ handed to me in blackjack and was drunk most of the time. It was great.

just tell her to act crazy and say weird things, they usually show those people

isnt the voodoo lounge on the 42 floor or something like that? I was going to go to that club but one of the guys in our group was wearing open toed shoes and they wouldnt let him in so we went to a strip club instead

I think it's like the 50th or something like that. It's the roof of one of the buildings there and it covers 2 floors. Pretty fun time, but make sure your drunk when you get there, drinks are $12 each. Excellent view though. They have a dress code there, it pretty lax though, just make sure you wear a dress shirt, no baggy pants, and dress shoes, and leave the hat at home. You're able to get into most clubs that way. And if you don't have free passes expect a $20 cover.

...or... she could just act normal and make it to the final table. :)

Cool! I'd love to go watch it one of these years while it's still big...playing I don't know if I could pull that off. I don't care how good you THINK you are in your local league or basement games....if you show up the first day and sit down at a table with Ivey, Negraneau, Hellmuth or any of the countless others sitting across or next to you...you will start trembling!
