The wife was listening to the raio and Avril Lavigne was in town for a concert that day and she decided to donate all concert proceeds to the families of all victims

 
Big Sports 590 is going to be having an auction for sports memoribilia and 100% of the proceeds will go to the victims relief fund. I've heard of sports gear from local Nebraska/Creighton stuff, all the way to Bobby Knight and Mike Leach autographed balls. Maybe we could make it sticky in the football thread when all of the details are finalized.

 
I agree that's an awesome idea for the stickey. Also very nice idea from matt perrault, not a big fan of his, but that showed some character.

I love that idea. Once the details are known, post it up on the Husker Football forum and we'll get it pinned.

Great idea, and the least the Board can do to help.

Don't really like her singing but as a class act she is right up there.

Four weeks ago my Mom passed away. Her quality of life over the last couple of years was not good so for her it was a peaceful and welcome passing. I, however, have not handled her passing very well. This board and it's members, without knowing, have been very helpful in bringing me out of the depression that I was suffering. I received about $200. in memorials from Mom's friends. I have decided to match this amount myself and send a check to this fund. I think Mom would have liked this. Thanks to Dundermifflinite and AR and all those who have done so much to promote this cause. God bless all of you guys and everyone who posts on this board.

I think this board helps alot of people out when they just want to get away from things for awhile. I know it has helped me forget some things before.

What a great way to honor your mother. I'm sure she would have been proud to know that you are doing that.
