It's been said that one man's trash is another man's treasure. Eighty-three-year-old Edward Saint John knows that. He found a winning million dollar lottery ticket in the trash outside of a Massachusetts white hen.
Saint John frequently looks for tickets in the trash. Incredibly, he found a thousand dollar winner in the same trash can earlier this year.
The store's owner may try and sue for the million dollar ticket.
But the Massachusetts lottery says finder's keepers -- Saint John won.
