He's not getting fired for 4-5 more years. We dug our own grave with this extension. Here are the rough buyout numbers, after each season, in millions:

26 - 63.9
27 - 54.9
28 - 44.55
29 - 33.75
 
Where are all the Rhule defenders? This was the easiest Husker schedule since joining the BIG and we will finish under .500 in conference. No more excuses. Time to clean house.

This is exactly it. Nebraska is soft...and has been (see our red zone offense and short-yardage situations)

This program was built by Bob Devaney on these key areas:
  • Defense
  • Physicality
  • Running the Football
  • Controlling the Clock
  • Playing to and winning the field position battle.
Tom Osborne stuck to this blueprint and perfected it. Frank Solich believed in this blueprint as well.

Nebraska has to find its way back here or these mediocre seasons will just keep happening over and over again.
