Rhule is a career .500 coach and the only area we improved was special teams. He is marginally better than Frost and on par with Mike Riley.

The Minnesota game there is no excuse for. Iowa has been better than us for a decade and every game with them should be close. This is embarrassing today, I do wonder what these last two games would have been like with Raiola.

I think Wisconsin just scored again on the jet sweep against Bo’s defense. Can we stop the revisionist history that Bo’s defense also had huge holes that he couldn’t fix?

If I recal ater that Wisconsin game, players came out saying guys were playing for themselves, not playing the calls, Camstache had to move inside and got destroyed.

Now, I think what I have said now for years is true. No one wants this job, thus why we end up with .500 coaches. This job has no appeal for up and coming coaches. This conference limits our recruiting because recruiting Texas is out now. SEC and Big 12 owns that conference, not to mention ACC has ties now with SMU. Trev Alberts knew this was coming. He knew that this machine was never going to get back to relevance. Took the money, and ran fast. Signs are there, we just have to be honest and accept the fact that the Big 10 move cost us a program, all because a coach lost his mind losing to Texas, and an athletic director who also lost to Texas in 1996 in a title game made a decision with emotion involved. Facts. Do I think we are finished, no. But we have now cycled thru coaches, and the process enough that we have to know that no one wants this job that has a future. Expectations are too much and winning here is tougher now than ever. Decisions will have to be made. Zach Taylor might be the only coach who could come in here and get things somewhat rolling, but he hasn't proved to win anything with out Burrow playing QB...........

Dream world one can convince Jon Garrison to come back home. And a guy like Justin Wilcox, or that kind of caliber, would take a coordinator position again

I'll take that over no bowl game.

Rhule has improved the team from the Frost era but still alot of room for improvement. We beat the teams we are supposed to which Frost couldn't do. Now we need to beat teams better than us.

I completely disagree. If we had Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio St on this schedule this season were 5-7. That's the thing, we did not have those teams on this schedule, should have been 9-3 at worst.
