Is anybody else....

I think we're about three games and four weeks too early to even talk about this game. We have to beat Idaho this week and Washington next week before we even begin to worry about conference opponents.

We have nearly two full weeks from the SDSU game until the K-State game. I have no doubt Bo will have these guys prepared and ready to go for that game.
We're fans, we can talk about any game we want...it's the players and coaches that can't be looking at this. But you're right, NU will thankfully have a lot of time before there is a need to focus on this. And hopefully Will Compton will be focusing on it as well.
i think what he met, or what i was thinking, was that it is still too early to judge either team. after washington, we will know a lot more about our team. and by then we should know a lot more about ksu. then we and adequately evaluate both teams and how the game should play out.
That's fair enough if that's the case. I personally think this Saturday will start to explain NU. 1st week to 2nd week is usually a good indicator of things to come, and Idaho, definitely not Washington or Kansas St., won't be a slouch.

Anytime you play against the best RB in the league in his house only a fool has no concerns. I really fear many of our fans have taken the idea that we are an elite football team because media idiots deem us so pre-season too seriously. We have issues on both sides of the ball that need clarity prior to playing a real football team, which I suspect KSU will be this year. They defeated a much better opponent in their opener than we have played. You can bet BP is concerned about it. Texas should be far from the only worry for this team.
Billyball, I've been reading you're posts for the last year or so with much concern, it appears as though you do not drink enough of this:

JK, i agree with you, but your posts are always so depressing.

I have learned to never count Snyder out. Snyder knows him some football.
Oh he's one sharp cookie to be sure. But I think KSU has no answer to this year's NU offense whatsoever. On the other side of the ball we've got maybe the best DC in cfb. If they had a weapon at qb "then" they would be scary. But they don't. It's on the road so I gotta give them a very remote chance. That's about it though.

This is one of several trap games on the schedule, by that I mean games we should win but could lose if our heads are not on straight. It is in a tough place on the schedule, right before texas, and the team may over look the mildcats. Snyder is a great coach and will have his team ready. Plenty of reason to fear this game. Just have faith in Bo to have them ready to play.

KSU will continue to be terrible, just as they have been for the last 5+ years. They beat UCLA, which is maybe the 7th best team in an extremely weak Pac-10 conference. When they play a real defense you'll see them fall apart as per usual.
