Is Gardner going to play Sat?

From what little I saw of the MSU game last week I noticed that they had Morris playing. Was that due to a injury or the ineffectiveness of Gardner?

He supposedly was just beat up and not actually injured. By the time Morris went in it was pretty clear they weren't going to win. I expect him to play Saturday.

 
I think he got sacked somehting like 7 times? At one point 3 in row. I could be wrong

I think by the time he left it was because of the quit of winning.

From what I saw/think he's pretty dejected and there seems to be some cracks in the foundation.

Hopefully he plays and does terrible.

Agreed..hopefully his game comes back to him sometime in the middle of next week...poor fella... :-)

Need to get aggressive with Gardner. Hasn't handled pressure well at all this year. If Bo plays scared like he did against Hundley then we'll get carved up again.

At least go out on your shield.

Maybe not every play, but I would certainly blitz more than half of the time. We can't let him sit back in the pocket, and just pick us a part. Or worse yet, take off and run if everyone is covered. We need to dictate the tempo, as we did against UCLA in the first half.

 
Yep...Get away from the nickel and dime stuff, play base with maybe Evans as an OLB and go balls to the wall. If they come out 4 or 5 wide, then go the route of Nickel or Dime but everything else should be out of base IMO.

 
The key to a Nebraska win is making Michigan 1 dimensional. They have to shut down the run from the get go. Don't let their running game get going. They have been a pretty poor rushing team all year and that needs to stay that way.

Then they do need to rush the passer. BP needs to go away from his natural tendency to want to play coverage and blitz the QB. Gardner's confidence isn't that high right now they need to get after him. He is athletic for sure, but he isn't anywhere close to as elusive as Cain Colter.

They need to continue to blitz even if Gardner burns us for a big gain on 1 or 2 plays IMO.......

Gardner didn't practice until today from what I gathered from an article. He was pretty banged up in the MSU game.
