Is he close to a recruiting violation?

I know he must be safe, a D1 head Coach couldn't be this foolish. I was wondering why this isn't a violation, i was always under the impression that he wasn't able to say committed players names.

It's been covered a bunch in the recruiting section. Lee and Anderson have signed financial papers allowing coaches to allude to them by name.

For those wondering why Riley can acknowledge Lee and Anderson on Twitter by name, it's because they've already signed papers to Nebraska.

Pretty savvy move by the 20-year veteran Riley to use the rule change to his advantage to acknowledge Lee and Anderson like that.
it would be funny if he had no idea about the rule and just accidentally looked brilliant.

Even saying he's going to Missouri x2....Of course we all know who he is going to see.
Coaches do this all the time. Throw not-so-subtle hits that you can usually tell who the are talking about. But as long as they don't say who exactly, they are alright.

the gabberts?
Some illegitimate Wistrom offspring? This guy has really done his research.

In all seriousness, I remember hearing that MR was really into the social media thing. I'm sure he knew what he was doing. Also wouldn't hurt to have a recruiter that is willing to toe that fine line.

When you think about it, that's pretty cool of him to communicate his trail. He is using social media to alert the fan base. I mean, the Head Football Coach of Nebraska tweeting and passing on information? Pretty cool, pretty cool indeed

Faux Pelini did it all the time

I love this board. Mike Riley is simultaneously not recruiting hard enough and so hard he's going to commit a violation.
