ISU still in the north mix....

This was pointed out to me yesterday.....

If there is a 3 way tie at the top of the north with all of NU, ISU, and KSU finishing 4-4 (very possible) then ISU would get the nod.

stay with me here, for that to happen KSU would have to lose to both MU and NU......NU would have to beat KSU and lose to both KU and CU......then ISU would have to beat both CU and MU.

so...

KSU 4-4

NU 4-4

ISU 4-4

KSU would not be eligible to win the north with a 4-4 record in the big 12 because that would mean that they are not bowl eligible at 6-6 overall (they played a couple 1AA teams) and you have to be bowl eligible to win the big 12 north.

that leaves it to NU and ISU...and since ISU holds to tie breaker, ISU would go to the championship game......

i just thought i would pass that along cuz a lot of people were saying that ISU was mathematically eliminated (myself included) but we were wrong.......

If ISU is able to pull that out then good for them. Im sure Texas would love to eat them up in a nice cheesy cake Big 12 Game. But i dont see ISU winning out. I see atleast 1 loss left for them. But they should make it to a bowl which would make them very happy.
