to run that kind of Offense
I think they can. But even that 2012 season showed barely being able to beat bad teams is a dangerous way to make a living. A few of those games could have easily gone the other way. Which we saw last year.Do you think Bo has the ability to get the team to win out for the rest of the year to get them to Indy, and if not, what is the difference between the 2012 and 2014 Bo/team?
Yeah, but this year we have a head-and-shoulder better defense (in talent and execution), are playing well in every phrase of special teams, and are not shooting ourselves in the foot on offense (as much) winning the TO margin. Our leadership is also better than in 2012. Heck, I would even take 2014 Bo, Beck, and Pap over the 2012 versions (though they are still lacking a bit in gamesmanship).I think they can. Actually, we have been winning the past 7 years. Quite a lot, actually. We just haven't gotten over the hump that we all would like to get over.NUpolo8 said:Oregon that year won the PAC 10, damn near beat penn st for us in the Rose Bowl, and by 2000 was nearly to what they are now.
And the only thing I'm jabbing at is the asinine argument that Nebraska can't win now because it isn't the 90's anymore. Or we shouldn't expect consistent greatness because it's no long the 90's. Or whatever phrasing is used. It's dumb, and there's no reasoning behind it. And that is obvious when you look at the teams now and then.
So, i must have overestimated your knowledge of college football. The changes have no bearing on whether or not Nebraska can be perennially successful.
And now you're having both sides of the argument. So, i must have overestimated your knowledge of college football. The changes have no bearing on whether or not Nebraska can be perennially successful.
And they have been successfull, sans 2002~2007.

Didn't you know Nebraska is the same as Alabama and Oregon under PeliniThat is your opinion. So, i must have overestimated your knowledge of college football. And they have been successfull, sans 2002~2007.The changes have no bearing on whether or not Nebraska can be perennially successful.
NUpolo views success as winning championships and you view it as winning 9 games and a whale trophy
