It's Nebraska Week at Off Tackle Empire

They guys do have some legit points, especially the one about the TAMU game and Bo forgetting to coach the team.

You know what? F these guys at off-tackle empire. This is the picture they choose to run with the Pelini article:

Anyone recognize this guy? He's the line judge from the A&M, Texas and Iowa State games, part of the crew that called a 3:1 disparity in penalties against Nebraska - including 16 penalties in the A&M game to A&M's two - the same A&M team that was third in the Big XII in penalties behind Baylor and Nebraska.

You want to rant about Pelini's temper, fine. But don't label him "petulant" (the title of the pic) and don't cite a game where he clearly got mugged by the officials as your example.

Poll

In the race for the Big Ten title, two favorites have emerged from the primordial ooze of the offseason - The Wisconsin Badgers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Who ya got?

Wisky. The most complete team by far, the Badgers are stacked with defensive talent and NFL-caliber RB's.

Texas AND Notre Dame at 10-2? Smoking some good stuff there guys.

Also is the Sugar obligated to take a non-AQ? If not there's very little chance they take a 1 loss Boise team over one of Nebraska/OhioState/Michigan.

+1

They've actually got some good, entertaining writers over there, though.

A&M. I'll never forget that game, and not for good reasons.

This is an excellent point, however I doubt how easily accessible this information would have been to them. I've only ever talked about or seen the fact on this board or from some Nebraska writers. If I didn't look at those things constantly, I wouldn't have known.

Which fact are you referring to, for clarity's sake?

That the same referee group was used for those three games mentioned above. I've only ever seen it mentioned here and possibly by a writer from Nebraska. Ergo, it doesn't seem like easily accessible information unless you know what you're looking for, and I doubt the guys/gals from this website new about that. It's not really common knowledge outside of Nebraska fans.

This quote here just made my week. Can't stop laughing when reading this.

Holy smokes, look at this. It's Iowa week and most of B1G country doesn't care.
Who do you care less about, Iowa or Northwestern?
I know this isn't directed at me but I'm curious, are you asking in the literal or figurative sense?

Literally, I don't care about Northwestern because I just don't think they have the talent or the appeal to recruits in order to compete for Big 10 titles. Iowa, on the other hand, shouldn't be taken lightly.

Figuratively, I don't care about Iowa because, well - they're Iowa.

I would say from the football standpoint. I'm simply asking because I know Persa's is the "diamond in the rough" in the B1G. I think they're kinda crap, but thats because I've come across more Northwestern folks than Iowa.
